Deon Policy Institute welcomes new board member Michail Stassinopoulos

Boston, MA, October 30, 2024 – Deon Policy Institute (DPI) is thrilled to announce that Michail Stassinopoulos is joining its Board of Directors. Michail, a renowned businessman, is the Executive Director of Viohalco S.A.. In addition, he is the President of the Board of Directors of the “Hellenic Production-Industry Roundtable for Growth,” chairman of ElvalHalcor Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry S.A., and member of the Board of the “Council on Competitiveness of Greece.” Finally, from 1996 to 2019, Michail was also actively involved in the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises.

Joining existing board members — George Laskaris, Drake Behrakis (Marwick Associates), Kristin Fabbe (European University Institute), Andreas Stavropoulos (Threshold Partners), and Bill Antholis (Miller Center)—Michail will add to Deon’s impact by offering additional insight into Greece’s sustainable growth and prosperity. Being a thought leader in the manufacturing industry, Michail has experience that has equipped him with the means to address the contemporary challenges of the country.
