Boston, MA, April 24, 2024 – Deon Policy Institute (DPI) is pleased to announce that William Antholis is joining its board of directors. Antholis, a renowned political scientist, is director and CEO of the nonpartisan Miller Center of Public Affairs, which specializes in public policy, political history, and presidential scholarship.
“I’m honored to serve on the Deon board. Greece is at an exciting moment in its history as a modern republic: combining a commitment to democratic opportunity and participation with economic growth and shared prosperity,” Antholis said. “Deon is squarely focused on helping Greece succeed, by bringing the best ideas from a wide range of the best minds,” he added.
“We are honored to have Bill Antholis on Deon’s Policy Institute Board. Given Bill’s expertise in public policy and extensive experience with U.S. think tanks, I’m confident that he will be instrumental in helping DPI achieve its ultimate goal: mobilizing the Greek Diaspora into a united force for progress in Greece,” said Georgios Laskaris, president and chairman of the board.
Antholis joins existing board members Laskaris, Drake Behrakis (Marwick Associates), Kristin Fabbe (European University Institute), and Andreas Stavropoulos (Threshold Partners).
Founded by a group of Greek academics, entrepreneurs, and professionals, the Deon Policy Institute is a non-partisan think tank that aims to organize and transform the Hellenic Diaspora into a catalyst for the progress and prosperity of Greece.
